established a private practice in Career Guidance where my areas
of special interest are education and training options, personality
assessment, aptitude and interest profiling, and career choice
and development. |
Outside my private
practice, I spend time working as a Career Guidance Counsellor in
one of the top rated secondary schools in the country. I have taught
on the postgraduate course in Career Guidance and Counselling in
University College Cork. Also, I have mentored students in their
work placements for this course and I have lectured in Career Theory
and Career Development.
I graduated
from University College Cork with an honours degree in Psychology
and Geography. I continued as a postgraduate student in University
College Cork and obtained my Higher Diploma in Education. I completed
my postgraduate studies in University College Cork with an honours
Higher Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.
I am a fully
qualified member of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors and hold
qualifications of competence (British Psychological Society recognised)
in Occupational, Personality and Psychometric Assessment.
